This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic evolution of Citi's Equities structuring capabilities, with a dedicated focus on platform automation. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing automated solutions that enhance efficiency, scalability, and responsiveness within the structuring workflow. This position demands a blend of strong technical acumen, a deep understanding of multi-asset products, and the ability to drive change in a fast-paced front-office environment. You will work closely with Sales, Trading, Technology and Operations to bring new products to market.
What you’ll do:
- Design, develop, and implement automated structuring tools and platforms for equity derivatives products.
- Keep abreast of quants and tech developments, to leverage infrastructure upgrade to deliver a greater range of products faster and smoother.
- Structuring of new products including pricing, modelling, and legal documentation, on various asset classes (equities, rates, FX, commodities).
- Contribute to the development of the Citi platform for pricing complex derivatives using Citi quantitative infrastructure.
- Collaborate with trading, sales, and technology teams to gather requirements and deliver robust, scalable solutions.
- Manage exceptional events affecting products after their launch, ensuring seamless post-launch operations.
What we need from you:
- Proven experience as an Equities Structurer or in a similar quantitative role within a tier-one investment bank.
- Demonstrated understanding of multi-asset products and how they are used to build products that can benefit clients.
- Experience of working closely with other teams across the bank and proven experience in using a structured product platform, as a trader, sales, or structurer.
- Strong understanding of equity derivatives products, pricing models, and risk management concepts.
- Proficiency in coding/scripting using Python and VBA.
- Strong structuring and financial modelling skills are highly recommended.
