Role Overview

Citi is seeking a Senior Supervisor candidate within Markets Operations supporting our Exchange Traded Derivatives, OTC Clearing, and FX Prime Brokerage business.

Specifically, the role will have a high degree of focus on the setup, maintenance and resolving of static data for Exchange Traded products (Listed Futures - ETD), accounts and eschanges on markets where CITI provides clearing and brokerage services.

This includes markets in North America, EMEA and APAC regions.

The role requires some knowledge in ETD products and experience on how these products are correctly setup.

The candidate will assist in the setup and maintenance of static data in CITI systems.

The candidate will report into the Team leader responsible for EMEA Static Data and is expected to work with peer colleagues in Tampa, London, and Mumbai to assist with break resolution and static data setups and maintenance.

The role will join a team of 20 people globally and will be at the individual contributor level with a high degree of autonomy on investigation, identifying and tracking trends.

There is a future significant systems upgrade where the candidate will be expected to contribute to design, testing (UAT) and roll-out.

  • What you’ll do
  • Setup ETD and OTC client facing accounts and ensure setups are correctly done across all systems
  • Run daily missing attribute controls to proactively monitor and ensure all accounts are correctly setup
  • Support request raised by stakeholders across product control, client service groups, reconciliations, remediations, treasury and margin operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve controls and simplify processes and take ownership to effect change.
  • Adhere to all control, compliance and regulatory requirements impacting function.
  • What we need from you
  • Relevant experience related to Futures (ETD) Clearing and/or Markets Operations.
  • Experience in data analytics is preferable
  • Experience with FIS, GMI, Consensys, ION, XTP, or MSTR
  • Demonstrated strong process improvement
  • Ability to communicate in a compelling manner with all levels of management and across functional areas – both written and oral. Across global boundaries
  • Ability to operate in a highly matrixed and ambiguous environment, navigate through the global framework, handle conflicting priorities with effective time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Deeply curious on the “why” behind the “what”. We require someone energetic who has an appetite to continuously improve processes to drive better outcomes and lower risk.
  • Logical, analytic and rationale thinker.
  • Aptitude for assessing levels of risk and discernment to elevate items of potential concern while addressing remediation plans.

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
