Articulate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences and translate business requirements from the Capital Markets domain into robust technical designs that facilitate business growth and client service.
- Hands‑On Prototyping and
Architecture: Be prepared to get hands‑on building proofs‑of‑concept and initial prototypes to validate ideas quickly, particularly for novel AI applications in Capital Markets tooling.
- Champion and
Influence: Influence and negotiate with senior leadership within Banking Technology and Capital Markets to secure buy‑in and resources for your product vision.
Communicate progress, challenges and outcomes effectively across all levels of the organisation, highlighting the strategic importance of enhanced Capital Markets tooling for business expansion and client satisfaction.
- Manage Risk and
Compliance: Uphold the firm’s commitment to risk management and compliance.
Ensure that all product decisions and technical implementations for Capital Markets tooling adhere to the highest standards of security, ethics and regulatory requirements, safeguarding the firm and its clients.
Qualifications
- Experience: Significant proven experience in technology, with a proven track record of shipping products from concept to launch in a product‑centric or entrepreneurial role.
- Product & Engineering
Hybrid: Demonstrated experience in a role that blends product management (defining the "what" and "why") with software engineering (defining the "how").
This role requires a strong product mindset, with deep technical expertise.
- AI/ML Expertise: Deep subject matter expertise in applying modern AI/ML techniques to solve real‑world business problems.
Experience with NLP, predictive modelling or generative AI is highly desirable, especially in the context of Capital Markets.
