Are you looking to take the next step in your career, working in a multi asset role that focuses on the technical aspects of the products within the global markets franchise? Citi is currently looking to hire a structurer into its Multi Asset Group (MAG) focusing on product development. By joining Citi's MAG, you will be a key member of an exciting business whose primary focus is to provide asset-based investment and hedging solutions for distributors and institutional investors, with a particular focus on insurance companies, asset managers (including hedge funds) and pension funds.

You will be joining an established desk looking to further expand its product offering and client base, through the application of the existing platform to develop and improve the volatility product offering. What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are:

  • Your main responsibility will be the marketing of the existing platform to place cross asset, equity, macro and thematic indices to UK and EMEA clients.
  • This role will have you working closely with the team to build investable strategies that can be marketed to the franchise.
  • Leverage contact network to understand the client needs, introduce the Citi offering, and influence clients to work with Citi, with the end goal of client satisfaction.
  • You will contribute to the continued growth of the platform by originating new clients or client segments in collaboration with the Citi sales teams.
  • You will be providing support on bespoke client projects as well as the BAU activity to ensure clients globally are serviced to the levels expected by Citi.
  • As part of an expanding business, you will get involved with various growth plans and initiatives and will work as part of a dynamic team in multi asset projects including implementation across client segments.

What we will need from you:

  • You will need to be able to display a deep understanding of a multitude of products across a variety of asset classes and how these can be used effectively to support the needs of Citi's client.
  • A history of building and maintaining client relationships with the institutional client base through a solution driven approach.
  • You should have experience of working closely with other teams across the bank including trading, product development and the various teams which help support the product offering.
  • Strong knowledge around volatility products, including the latest product developments and how these can be used as part of client offering.
  • An understanding of how to assess the risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
