The Banker is a senior‑level position responsible for ensuring efficient and optimal use of capital in Europe, Middle East & Africa and the UK region, with responsibilities for Capital Management and Leveraged Finance/ Sponsor‑owned portfolio companies coverage.
Responsibilities Provide leadership and active participation in global projects for Capital Management (e. g.
Banking Balance Sheet Forum, Lower Left Reviews, RWA/GAAP monitoring etc.), liaising with APAC, Latam and NAM Capital Management teams to ensure globally consistent practices.
Coordinate Banking Balance Sheet Forum (BBSF) and capital approvals and recommendations, supporting Bankers throughout the process.
Act as a capital management subject‑matter expert supporting Basel III Endgame, client financials, return methodologies and other capital related workstreams.
Report periodically on capital and returns performance to regional and global senior management to help shape client and portfolio strategies.
Partner with Risk to ensure strong first line of defence.
