Overview
This role is responsible for the distribution of electronic FX to clients and the origination of FX Digital solutions across electronic FX and integrated solutions with Services.
The candidate will join the UK, Europe and MEA FX Digital Sales team with a focus on UK/Europe corporates.
This team is part of the Global FX Digital Sales organization within FX Markets.
Responsibilities
- Achieve ambitious goals in FX Digital revenue, market and wallet share from the identified client franchise while supporting growth in the voice business.
- Be responsible for the distribution of Citi’s electronic FX liquidity to corporate and financial institutions clients.
- Leverage internal and external data to drive client pricing strategy, balancing revenue and returns.
- Originate and execute to win marquee mandates, grow net new business and drive new client acquisition in FX Digital solutions and FX as a Service.
- Obtain client feedback, understand client needs and work with FX Trading partners, FX product and technology to enable delivery of new integrated products and solutions.
- Keep informed of changes in a dynamic, competitive marketplace and update internal partners on trends.
- Partner effectively with stakeholders across Trading, FX Product, FX Digital Sales, FX Sales and partners in Banking and Services.
- Enhance share of mind with clients on their Digital strategy.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citi and its clients by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- What we will need from you
- Experience within Foreign Exchange sales with a preference for Digital experience.
- Previous experience in client-facing roles with proven track record on growing and maintaining relationships through value-added service and commercial skills.
- An entrepreneurial approach for business origination and developing new relationships and solutions.
- Keen interest in digitalization and understanding of FX markets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good team ethic with the ability to build effective relationships and leverage a network of partners across the business.
- Bachelor’s/University degree.
