We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our structuring team as a Vice President. The role is based in London and has a dual focus: 1) the structuring and execution of repackaged transactions for our European client base, and 2) designing bespoke solutions in the rates space for Financial Institution (FI) clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Repacks Structuring
- Lead the origination, structuring, and execution of repackaged notes for a diverse range of European clients.
- Manage the entire transaction lifecycle, from initial idea generation and pitching, through pricing and negotiation, to final execution and settlement.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Trading, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure seamless deal delivery.
- Develop innovative repack structures and identify new asset classes to meet evolving client demand and market opportunities.
- FI Solutions Structuring
- Design and structure tailored cross-asset solutions to address the specific balance sheet, capital, funding, and risk management challenges of Financial Institution clients (including banks, insurance companies, and asset managers).
- Work with various trading desks to create integrated and value-added solutions.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for pricing, risk analysis, and scenario testing of proposed solutions.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality marketing materials, pitchbooks, and presentations to clients.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Proven experience in a structuring, trading, or related quantitative role at a top-tier investment bank.
- Demonstrable expertise in derivatives and structured products, particularly in the context of repacks.
- Proven experience in a client-facing role with a strong understanding of the investment and hedging needs of Financial Institutions.
