This key role is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.
Key Responsibilities- Lead integration of functions with understanding of client core business functions and partner with multiple senior management teams to meet goals and deploy new products and process enhancements.
- Solve the highest-impact, highest-profile problems with significant business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.
- Influence and negotiate with senior leaders (across functions) and communicate with external parties as needed.
- Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions as a technical expert in all development and implementation phases, providing in-depth and sophisticated analyses to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Conduct management activities, including resource management, work allocation, mentoring/coaching and other duties and functions as assigned.
- Adequately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Extensive experience with a proven track record of managing large-scale global projects within the Futures and OTC Clearing product domain.
- Expertise in ETD trade processing and lifecycle workflows.
- Deep knowledge of the ETD Fees, Commissions, and Brokerage domain, with a strong understanding of the data elements driving these workflows, including hands-on experience with FIA systems.
- Practical working knowledge of FIS GMI and ION XTP, with specialization in the reference data landscape within these systems.
- Advanced data analysis skills, leveraging tools such as Excel and Python to support enhanced data processing and insights.
- Extensive exposure to structured project management techniques, with familiarity in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proven experience in managing and delivering complex technical projects.
- Strong technical background with expertise in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and stakeholder management in a global, dynamic environment.
- Skilled in identifying issues, generating solutions, and selecting appropriate alternatives using root cause analysis and cost-benefit evaluation.
- Advanced proficiency in tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Confluence, and JIRA.
- Proactive, self-motivated professional with the ability to hit the ground running.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and productivity tools.
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Master's degree preferred.
