IT Project Senior Technology Lead | Belfast, UK

The IT Project Senior Technology Lead for Citi's transaction Testing platform is a strategic professional who closely follows the latest trends in their field and adapts them for application within their job and the business. Excellent communication skills are required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are necessary to guide, influence, and convince others, particularly colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the platform, day-to-day requests, long-term projects, and strategy of the team.
• Eliminate waste in the SDLC process.
• Ensure your platform is fully compliant with Citi's compliance, security, and audit policies.
• Ensure system stability through enhancement/maintenance periods.
• Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
• Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct, and business practices.
• Supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

• Significant relevant experience managing Consent order technology regulatory projects.
• Experience with Function as a Service platforms.
• Proven experience working through the full product cycle from initial design to the final product.
• Experience working with streaming data architectures.
• Experience with designing and deploying container-based services.
• Ability to engage and work closely with stakeholders from partner technology, business, and operations.
• Ability to develop good working relationships with peer groups and management.
• Ability to distribute/allocation work within the team depending on project complexity and resource availability.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities efficiently.
• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and deliver work on target.
• Strong communication skills; articulate in both written and verbal communication.
• Good negotiation skills and an accomplished solution provider and problem solver.
• Experience in Agile Methodology technology development.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree in computer science/engineering/mathematics or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree in computer science/engineering/mathematics is preferred.
