The Global Network Banking (GNB) Business Associate/AVP role is an intermediate level position within the Banking Business Execution team. Global Network Banking is an integral part of Citi's Global Banking network, serving the financial needs of multi-national subsidiary clients around the globe. The role will be responsible for supporting the Europe and UK GNB Heads in all business execution activities including revenue analysis, preparation of management reports & business review decks, tracking of business performance and productivity measures, revenue and expense management, headcount analysis and planning, client administration, support with ad hoc projects as required.
The Business Execution Associate/AVP will work closely with the Europe GNB Country Heads, and the GNB Business Execution team. The individual will also partner with product and global function teams including Services, Markets, Finance, Risk, and HR.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Europe and UK GNB Heads across all business execution related activities; providing governance and preparing business review presentations to Senior Management.
- Partner with Europe and UK GNB Heads to formulate, implement and articulate strategic growth plans and initiatives for the GNB Europe and UK franchise.
- Organize and analyze data to produce best in class presentations and management reports to support business review meetings.
- Work closely with all partners to implement client relationship management strategies by driving client planning, execution & optimization.
- Support business development activities by preparing revenue and wallet share analysis as well as actively contributing to the financial planning process of the GNB franchise.
- Support the coordination of GNB projects, initiatives and liaise with key partners and stakeholders across GNB.
- Support Global GNB Business Execution initiatives and projects as it pertains to the UK and Europe franchise.
- Support the business with governance related topics on a day-to-day and strategic basis.
- Manage the Year-End process, Voice of the Client, etc, for GNB Europe and UK.
Qualifications:
- Professional experience of ideally 5 years, ideally in a Corporate Banking or Business Execution function.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Office.
- Advanced Excel expertise including demonstrated capabilities with pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, and formulas.
- Advanced PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Capability to build constructive work relationships across teams, products and geographies.
- Self-starter, and ability to manage projects with limited guidance.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment.
