Equities Technology at Citi is undertaking a bold, multi‑year transformation to build a best‑in‑class global platform across execution, prime, clearing and cross‑product margining. We are re‑engineering our technology estate to achieve world‑leading performance and resiliency, enabling new capabilities in advanced execution, global market connectivity, and modernised post‑trade, clearing and margin processes. Our ambition is to deliver a seamlessly integrated, highly automated platform that drives outstanding client outcomes and accelerates growth across our global franchise. As part of the team, you’ll collaborate closely with high‑calibre engineers and deeply engaged business and product partners - working together to define and deliver the next generation of Equities technology at Citi.
Role Overview / What will you do:
- Performance Tracking & Executive Reporting: Own consolidated management reporting across delivery, financials, capacity, and risks. Translate complex data into clear executive insight and narrative.
- Planning & Prioritisation Support: Support annual and in‑year planning cycles (OKRs, roadmaps, investment prioritisation). Maintain alignment between strategy, funding, capacity, and execution. Track changes and ensure implications are visible and managed.
- Hiring & Resourcing Enablement: Support workforce planning in partnership with leadership. Track headcount, open roles, hiring progress, and onboarding dependencies. Help ensure hiring aligns to priorities, budget, and delivery plans. Coordinate approvals, governance, and reporting related to resourcing.
Key Skills And Experience Required:
- Strong strategic awareness; understands the broader business context, priorities, and trade‑offs behind initiatives.
- Able to connect day‑to‑day execution to strategic intent, financial reality, and leadership objectives.
- Expert user of PowerPoint, including executive storytelling, structuring, and visual clarity (not just slide production).
- Advanced Excel skills; comfortable with structured analysis, models, trackers, and scenario views to support planning and decision‑making.
- Extensive experience in a related technology role.
- Demonstrated expertise of Microsoft Office product suite; basic macro coding experience and proficiency in Microsoft Access and PowerPoint preferred.
Nice to have skills and experience:
- Experience in markets technology business (highly beneficial).
- Advanced Excel expertise including demonstrated capabilities with pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, and formulas.
- Experience with databases and information management.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
