Role Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in the clearance, settlement and investigation of transactions.

What you’ll do

  • Help lead and supervise a team responsible for managing post-trade activity, providing guidance on complex trade lifecycle events, exceptions, and client queries while ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Act as an escalation point for operational, client, and trading issues, partnering with Front Office, clients, and internal stakeholders to mitigate risk and maintain high service standards.
  • Drive process improvement and operational excellence by identifying opportunities to enhance controls, increase efficiency, automate manual processes, and strengthen the overall client experience.
  • Oversee the team's risk and control framework, ensuring processes, controls, and key metrics are regularly reviewed, emerging risks are identified, and issues are escalated appropriately and in a timely manner. Review and deliver management reporting and business insights to senior stakeholders, providing transparency on service levels, operational performance, risk items, and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, policy, and governance requirements, promoting a strong culture of accountability, control awareness, and continuous improvement across the team.
  • Coach, develop, and inspire team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment while supporting talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with Trading, Sales, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Product Control, and Operations teams to support business objectives and drive successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
