Job Overview
The IT Project Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional who applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge and contributes to the development of new techniques, improving processes and workflow within the area or function. The role integrates subject‑matter and industry expertise within a defined area, evaluates moderately complex issues, and provides analytical judgment and communication to influence decisions across the sub‑function and overall business.
Responsibilities
- Co‑ordinate activities of the project team, identify necessary resources and develop schedules to meet completion deadlines.
- Verify project team adherence to control and risk implementations, as well as standards and process changes.
- Determine scope and impact of project risks and issues; raise and resolve issues.
- Apply good understanding of concepts and procedures within the IT project leadership area to resolve issues.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of how areas of IT project leadership collectively integrate to achieve business goals.
- Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.
- Directly impact the IT project leadership area through shared responsibility for delivery of end results, planning, budget management and formulation of procedures; influence resource planning.
- Persuade and influence others through communication and diplomacy skills; negotiate with external parties when required.
- Assess risk appropriately when business decisions are made, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.
Qualifications
- Experience in an IT project leadership role with commensurate people‑management experience.
- Technology financial services experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
