Are you looking for a career move that will put you at the heart of a global financial institution? This role is part of Citi’s Issuer Services Transaction Relationship Management teams in Belfast, focused on client transaction execution and portfolio management.

What you’ll do

  • Execute and manage client transactions through review, negotiation and execution of relevant documentation (e.g., agency agreements, trust deeds, account bank/escrow agreements, custody agreements, indentures, cash management agreements, pledge agreements and facility agent agreements) in relation to Issuer Services product offerings such as Structured Finance, Debt, Specialized Agency, Project Finance, Loans and Liability Management.
  • Manage a portfolio of transactions and act as a focal point for post-closure agency and trustee activities.
  • Ensure accurate set-up and maintenance of transactions including cash and custody account opening.
  • Ensure all appropriate approvals are in place prior to deal closure including KYC, Deal Review, sanctions screening and other approvals.
  • Liaise with Operations teams regarding the implementation of new transactions as required.
  • Participate in Deal Review meetings as appropriate.
  • Build and develop internal and external client relationships and provide support to Sales on new business prospects as required.
  • Ensure revenue generation via accurate invoicing.
  • Support the Team Lead on ad-hoc projects where necessary.

What we’ll need from you

  • Working knowledge of Issuer Services transactions desirable.
  • Understanding of transaction documentation and deal execution and/or legal experience.
  • General banking experience advantageous.
  • Strong transaction management/execution and negotiation skills.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Ability to prioritise.
  • Strong communication skills.
