Role Overview/What will you do: Working with cross functional teams including finance teams to review and finalise quarterly outlook cycles, transfers, functionals and the annual budget process.
Assist with financial projections based on risks and opportunities.
Involvement in month end close and provide variance analysis commentary for senior management reviews.
Maintenance of Project Tracking System (PTS) including updating application profiles and ensuring alignment of both HC and $ to internal Citi systems.
Involvement in annual Investment Request (IR) process including monitoring and summarising IRs for senior management.
Develop standardisation across financial processes used across multiple verticals by understanding key business drivers and driving efficiencies.
Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies and relevant legal regulations.
Detail oriented, curious by nature, and strategic thinker that can prioritise and multi-task between the several budget priorities.
Attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a curious nature.
Ability to think independently, evaluate, negotiate, and structure updates suitable for senior management across a wide variety of topics associated with organisational initiatives.
Adaptable and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Skills and Experience required: Experience in a financial services role.
Experience in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders.
Knowledge of the financial services industry and technology.
Proven ability to work in high-pressure environments.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
Master’s degree preferred.
Desirable experience: Experience with Project Tracking System (PTS) and Investment Requests (Investments @ Citi).
