We are undergoing an exciting transformation in the domains of Margin and Collateral, OTC derivatives, Payments, and Cash Management within Markets Technology. We aim to enhance our technology offerings to become the most competitive on the street. In this role, you will participate in the entire SDLC, working closely with business users, engineers, QA, and support teams to create a technology product vision and roadmap, ensuring its timely and budgeted delivery. As part of our global technology team, you will collaborate with passionate product owners and engineers dedicated to building simple and effective solutions for complex business problems. This role is suitable for a strong analyst with excellent organizational skills who enjoys solving complex business and process challenges. You should have experience in building robust, high-quality solutions, possess excellent communication skills, and be capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

The IT Business Lead Analyst is a senior-level role responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to facilitate clear and logical communication, in coordination with the Technology team. The main goal is to support continuous exploration and analysis of business performance to derive insights and inform business planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business and operational users to understand their needs and translate these into technology requirements.
  • Align with the product vision and maintain cohesion throughout the SDLC; create a product roadmap based on this vision.
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritizing tasks based on challenging requirements.
  • Participate actively in all stages of product development, including defining scope, objectives, and necessary enhancements for complex projects.
  • Monitor and evaluate product progress; identify risks, communicate impacts, and propose mitigation strategies considering business implications.
  • Consult with business clients to determine system specifications and collaborate with management to meet organizational goals.
  • Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business needs, recommending system improvements based on analysis of processes and standards.
  • Provide in-depth analysis to define problems, develop innovative solutions, and influence strategic decisions.
  • Assess risks associated with business decisions, ensuring compliance, safeguarding assets, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Work with the wider team and end users to deliver updates, reports, and participate in Scrum activities and sprints.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a product owner/manager in product companies.
  • Proven track record of delivering strategic change programs in fast-paced financial product environments.
  • Strong knowledge of agile practices and backlog management.
  • Product knowledge in Margin & Collateral, OTC Derivatives, Payments, or related domains is a plus.
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, proactive; capable of adding impact strategically and tactically.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience engaging senior management.
  • Strong risk management mindset and control awareness.
  • Ability to analyze complex information, develop solutions, and make sound judgments.
  • Self-reliant, problem solver, results-oriented.
  • Ability to build trust and act as a business partner with a client-focused approach.
  • Knowledge of external/internal best practices and organizational development.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel for data analysis.
  • Experience across all SDLC phases and agile methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of business analysis principles.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
