Job Overview Citi is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Technology team and play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing the application systems and platforms that power critical business operations on a global scale. In this role, you will apply deep technical expertise across CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, cloud infrastructure, and observability to deliver resilient, high-quality software systems. Your work will directly shape how Citi's engineering teams build, ship, and monitor production services across a complex and high-impact technology environment. Responsibilities Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Git, Tekton, and Harness to accelerate and standardize software delivery across engineering teams. Build and manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes and OpenShift using Helm, ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and production ready. Architect and maintain observability solutions - including log aggregation with Splunk and Elastic/Kibana, and metrics monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana - to give engineering teams real-time visibility into system health. Evaluate complex technical problems across application systems, business processes, and delivery pipelines, and develop engineering solutions that meet specific business requirements. Collaborate with development teams, business users, and technology stakeholders to define operating standards, resolve technical issues, and recommend engineering improvements. Develop and enforce security measures across the software delivery lifecycle, ensuring system design supports compliance with applicable policies and technical standards. Act as a technical authority for junior and mid-level engineers, providing guidance, code review, and hands-on support to elevate team capability. Required Qualifications
