Team/Role Overview
The Reconciliation & Proofing Senior Analyst is an experienced professional who applies in‑depth disciplinary knowledge, contributes to the development of new techniques, and improves processes and workflows. This role integrates subject‑matter and industry expertise within a defined area, evaluating complex issues with substantial impact and balancing competing alternatives. It requires strong analytical, communication, and diplomatic skills, and includes informal or formal leadership responsibilities within teams, coaching new recruits, and influencing decisions through advice and counsel.
What You’ll Do
- Participate on projects across their lifecycle: identifying problems, analyzing root causes, and developing solutions;
- Operate a change‑management process, ensuring all changes to scope are clearly defined, controlled, and financially understood before implementation;
- Develop, track, and maintain project plans, track deliverables, and manage risk, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, ensuring clear owners and resolution dates;
- Monitor and control all steps of the project through the post‑implementation support period;
- Provide governance and oversight of new data onboarding, approving test packages for release;
- Develop relationships with support functions and senior leadership;
- Identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk‑mitigation options, considering business implications of technology applications;
- Test and monitor key controls for each product line and document results;
- Liaise with business and line‑control officers on any deficiencies or control gaps;
- Ensure appropriate remedial actions are in place where deficiencies are identified;
- Document, implement, and execute Corrective Action Plans for management of control issues;
- Provide status updates to management on change requests.
