Job Overview
This role requires a proactive individual who will primarily be responsible for delivering an effective and accurate payroll service to all employees on Citi's UK Payroll. Team/Role Overview
This role will involve dealing with complex employee queries including PAYE tax issues, whilst delivering a high level of customer service at all times. Please note, this position is a Fixed Term Contract.
What you'll do:
- Resolve employee queries using Servicenow.
- Follow all standard processes and guidance.
- Maintain employee records on Workday.
- Calculate and record payroll deductions or earnings as necessary.
- Review and audit payroll records including sickness payments and retrospective pay.
- Reconcile earnings and deduction totals.
- Create and maintain maternity schedules.
- Participate in projects and initiatives as they arise.
What we'll need from you:
- Previous relevant Payroll experience (necessary).
- Experience of using Workday Payroll (desirable).
- Experience of working for a global company (desirable).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and high attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting skills, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be self-motivated and self-directed and think and act independently while also being team-oriented.
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent professional experience.
