What We do / The Team
The Equities Data Fabric (EQDF) production management group provides direct support to a diverse set of reference data, risk position, and analytics services servicing our client applications for trading, sales, and middle office across Equities and touching on other lines of business within Markets. Your responsibilities will be aligned to supporting the services that are utilised by our client applications, following ITIL support procedures and protocols. The role will involve performing analysis on issues and requests from our business and production management partners, covering technologies such as Linux, KDB, Oracle and MS SQL, with integration with ITRS for system and flow monitoring.
Role Overview / What will you do
- Supporting the applications covered by the Equities Data Fabric Production Management Team
- Part of a global follow‑the‑sun team ensuring overnight service restarts and batches complete successfully and within SLAs.
- Investigate issues raised by our client application partners, improving data quality checks, monitoring and alerting.
- Work closely with the in‑house dev teams, escalating issues where needed.
- Track incidents in ServiceNow, own the stability book of work in Jira.
- Improve monitoring, observability and controls for our stack.
- Improve resiliency and recoverability for our stack, holding our dev team accountable.
