Regulatory Project/Program Manager seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record of Program/Portfolio Management within the Securities Markets and Banking (SMB) Technology, Banking or Consultancy industry. In this fast-paced environment, you must be able to prioritise tasks, work within deadlines, taking a pragmatic and considered approach, paying close attention to details, and employing strong oral and written communication skills. Supporting project teams to deliver on tight deadlines. Documentation preparation & review, strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall/Traditional, Agile & Hybrid) required.
Cross Assets Regulatory Programs team is a front to back Technology team that works with the Securities Markets and Banking business and Technology to deliver high visibility global Regulatory and Compliance programs across all Capital Markets Asset Groups and Banking business lines. This makes it an exciting and fast-paced group to work in.
Key Responsibilities
- Define program scope and objectives, gather, analyse, validate and manage program and project requirements.
- Drive the creation of clear requirements documents using a structured analysis methodology.
- Liaise with relevant project stakeholders within the technology and business teams across SMB to create an overall delivery plan.
- Support the technical leads in the planning, tracking and execution of the Regulatory deliverables and commitments.
- Support and report on the project progress using the standard templates and tools available.
- Establish and maintain best practices and Citi approved PPM procedures across all projects.
- Enforce a culture of SDLC best practices across the technology teams.
- Foster an environment that encourages partnering, teamwork and communications across O&T and business partners.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential to effectively communicate issues, risks and progress on complex processes to multiple stakeholders.
- Self-initiate, work productively when unsupervised and multitask across multiple concurrent projects.
- Has the confidence and ability to convincingly structure, summarise, defend, and present recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge/Experience
- Experience in project planning, tracking, delivery, and reporting.
- Operations and/or IT experience, Financial markets product knowledge (Rates/FX/ETD/Spread Products/Commodities/Equities/Loans) including knowledge of front-to-back trade flow processing and a broad range of investment banking products and trade lifecycles.
- Experience of working as BA / PM in Front Office Function or Operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of Dodd-Frank framework and applicability to markets products.
Skills
- Proven experience in delivering cross asset Regulatory transformation/change and software development (SDLC) projects involving Front to Back systems flows.
- Expert level experience with SDLC processes - Agile/Waterfall methodology.
- Expert level experience with managing large projects, tasks, workflow and reporting using various tools such as Jira.
- Comfortable in using Project Management tools such as Planview, Microsoft Project, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in working with large project management data sets to uncover insights is preferred.
- Strong listening, presentation, communication, and influencing skills. Articulates with confidence to senior management.
- Highly adept and dynamic leader with the ability to provide structure and governance when overall delivery involves multiple teams working in a coordinated manner.
- Strong team building and management skills.
- Strong attention to detail in supporting management reporting with clear and concise data analysis and presentation.
- Highly motivated and self-directed; exhibits thought leadership and strong critical thinking skills.
- Strong EXCEL, PowerPoint and Project skills.
Qualifications
- Educated to bachelor's degree level or equivalent.
