About CiteAb
CiteAb’s mission is to build world-class data products that accelerate scientific progress. Our search tools are used by tens of thousands of researchers from the world's top universities and pharmaceutical companies to help buy the right reagents and avoid failed experiments that waste time, money and patient samples.
About the role
We are looking for a motivated and proactive scientist to take ownership of some of our key products, including our Explore search platform and widget citation plug-in.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of these products, including collating feedback, carrying out market research, analyzing product usage statistics and combining insights to allow you to build a roadmap of product improvements for our team of developers to implement. This role will suit someone who has a strong life science background, understands the challenges researchers face and is able to take ideas from diverse sources and synthesize them into a coherent vision for the products - all feeding into our mission to help scientists progress their research more quickly.

- The ability to take ideas from diverse sources and synthesise them into a coherent vision and plan for our product development
- Have excellent written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to explain complicated data products to others
- Have the ability to work closely and efficiently with team members as a key part of a small organisation
