You will be part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, collaborating with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support business operations and help achieve goals. The Financial Planning & Analysis Team provides financial performance insights tailored to Citco's Executive Committee and works with various Lines of Business and group functions to formulate strategic projects and oversee their implementation, aiming to maximise efficiency and shareholder value.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to management reporting (IT and Non-IT), budgeting and forecasting, analysis, strategic projects, financial modelling, and project execution direction.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the management team and external stakeholders (e.g., investors and lenders) in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project status reporting process in collaboration with the project manager, including KPIs to measure project success.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets and forecasts; monitor actual performance against budgets and recommend actions to address variances.
- Participate in resource planning for operational and IT projects, identifying staffing needs and ensuring resources are available to complete projects.
- Produce financial models and projections to support strategic planning, due diligence, and decision-making; analyze financial data and prepare reports on performance (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, cost/benefit, liquidity, sensitivity and scenario analyses).
- Leverage data analytics, automation tools, and AI capabilities to enhance quality, efficiency, and scalability of financial analysis and reporting.
- Clearly articulate commercial drivers of Citco to stakeholders; present deliverables and key information to senior stakeholders for decision making.
- Create reports and presentations, translating findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualisations (e.g., Power BI) to support management reporting and insight delivery.
- Translate complex financial data into clear outputs to support senior stakeholder decision-making.
- Support leadership in communicating with the Executive Reporting Team and senior stakeholders, ensuring clear, concise information exchange.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency; drive continuous improvement and provide structure to complex problems under tight deadlines.
- Lead and coordinate with business stakeholders across Citco (Legal, Tax, HR, IT, Operations) to document opportunities and actions; manage relationships to enable knowledge sharing and project progress.
- Contribute to decision-making through robust financial analysis and appropriate stakeholder communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a quantitative subject (Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or Business). Master’s Degree preferred but not required.
- 1–2 years of work experience, preferably in a quantitative role (e.g., Audit, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, FP&A, Corporate Development).
- Proficient in MS Excel with experience in performing complex analysis and modelling.
- Experience with Power BI (or similar data visualisation tools), including building dashboards and presenting insights effectively.
- Demonstrated experience using or exposure to AI-enabled tools (automation, data analysis, or reporting) in a professional environment.
- Inquisitive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and driving efficiencies.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail; knowledge of data modelling techniques and experience handling data in various formats.
- Ability to convert complex concepts into simple language; commercial mindset with technical proficiency to deliver rapid, clear outcomes.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and solve problems; capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
