Hours of Work: Full-time (35 hours per week)

Contract: Permanent

Target Salary: £47,973 per annum

What you’ll be doing

As a Vocational Instructor, you’ll deliver high‑quality training to learners at various stages of their careers. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future workforce by:

  • Delivering engaging theory and practical training sessions to apprentice and commercial learners
  • Supporting learners through assessments and qualifications
  • Maintaining industry standards and ensuring a safe learning environment
  • Contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum of Level 3 (or equivalent) vocational qualification directly related to the role
  • Specialist licence to practice qualifications relevant to the role
  • Relevant experience in the construction industry and excellent knowledge of current industry practices
  • Hold a Level 2 qualification or higher in English and maths or demonstrate proficiency at Level 2 or above through a recognised assessment in both subjects.
  • Minimum of Level 3 teaching qualification (or commitment to achieve within one year of commencing role)
  • Assessor Awards (or commitment to achieve within one year of commencing)
  • A passion for developing others and sharing knowledge
