You'll be out on the road, meeting training providers, reviewing processes, and helping shape the future of construction training delivery in the UK. What you'll be doing:
- Manage a caseload of training providers as part of CITB's 'Training Provider Network'
- Plan, deliver, and follow up on quality assurance audits
- Identify and act on non-conformances, malpractice, maladministration, or fraud
- Support training providers with advice and best practice for training, assessment, and testing
- Assist with the onboarding and approval of new training organisations
- Conduct sampling of assessment, training, and testing
- Review applications from trainers, assessors, and testers in line with CITB scheme requirements
- Deliver constructive feedback and produce clear, plain-English reports
- Share insights and contribute to continuous improvement across the network
Qualifications:
- Educated to GCSE standard (Grades A–C in Maths and English)
- ISO 9001 Auditor (or willingness to obtain once in post)
- Recognised training qualification (or willingness to obtain once in post)
- Site Manager Safety Training Scheme qualification (or willingness to obtain once in post)
- In-depth knowledge of educational quality assurance and auditing systems
- Strong occupational expertise in the construction and built environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
- Confident handling difficult conversations and managing conflict professionally
- D34 (V1), D35 (V2) Internal or External Verifier qualifications
- Education to A-Level standard (or equivalent)
