The role involves:
- Effectively managing several projects from start to closure, working closely with internal departments and third‑party suppliers, including change management and adoption activities.
- Coordinating all resource requirements as needed to ensure successful implementation.
- Overseeing assignments to project work and delivery of outputs as required.
- Continuous assessment of the implementation status, including updated plans and progress reports.
- Meeting with stakeholders to discuss requirements and implementation status.
- Leading discovery sessions and scoping workshops.
- Liaising with project resources, key stakeholders, and the management team to provide status updates on the progress of projects.
- Identifying areas of deviation from the agreed specification and instigating change control procedures.
- Introducing contingency planning when implementation is not running to schedule or to mitigate risks.
- Liaising with all relevant parties to ensure any issues are dealt with satisfactorily both pre and post implementation.
- Working with departmental heads to improve business processes across teams.
- Collaborating with other Project Managers for the management of team diaries and coordinating resource allocation for assigned projects.
- Regularly updating the Senior Management Team on the progress of key projects and outstanding issues.
- Providing regular budget forecasts and variance reports.
- Maintaining a resource plan, allowing for seasonal variations and developing mitigating action plans.
- Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Reviewing project scopes and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility.
- Using appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Measuring team performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Implementing risk management processes.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- Identifying project implementation process changes as required.
