Receptionist at Citadines Trafalgar Square is seeking a confident individual to join our Front Office Team. Our properties operate 24/7, with shifts including early (7am-3.30pm) and late (3pm-11.30pm). Night shifts are available and required on occasion. You will report to the Front Office Manager, supporting efforts to provide our guests with unique experiences and offerings to Live, Work and Play in infinite ways.

Responsibilities:

  • Offer a warm welcome and departure experience to guests, managing expectations by personalising their needs and travel plans where appropriate.
  • Take initiative in accommodating guests’ needs in a resourceful manner.
  • Be proactive in learning and developing administrative tasks, procedures, processes and standards and ensure correct practice.
  • Ensure that all shift tasks are carried out to the required standard and provide full handovers to relevant parties/shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent guest engagement skills.
  • Ability to bring the guest experience to life throughout the hotel.
  • Willingness to learn and work with IT systems quickly.
  • Ability to communicate and organise yourself in line with different guest expectations.
  • Good command of English; a second language is advantageous.
