Citadines City Centre Liverpool is seeking a confident Linen Porter to become part of our Housekeeping Team. Our properties operate 24/7; therefore, the department works on a shift basis. Please note this position is part time, 20 hours per week over 5 days.
As a Linen Porter, you will support our Head Housekeeper by creating unique experiences and offerings to Live, Work and Play in infinite ways. A Linen Porter will be responsible for:
- Managing the collection, sorting and distribution of clean and soiled linen across the property
- Maintaining organised, clean, and well-stocked linen rooms and storage areas
- Monitoring linen levels, minimising waste, and reporting any shortages or discrepancies
- Supporting the Housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready to the highest standards and on time
- Following all health, safety and hygiene procedures when handling linen and equipment
- Assisting with stock deliveries, inventory checks and general housekeeping duties as required
To be successful in the role of Linen Porter, we require:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Physically able to lift, carry and move linen trolleys
- Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work shifts (including weekends if required)
