Citadel Source is delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with Frostkrone UK to appoint their new UK CFO. Reporting to the FK UK Managing Director, the UK CFO will be responsible for ensuring and developing revenue streams and driving business strategy. A bit about Frostkrone UK… Following the acquisition of Abergavenny Fine Foods in 2021, Frostkrone has continued its growth and development of the UK marketplace partnering with industry leaders within the retail sector. Performance within the UK business has been consistently positive, showing over 20% YOY growth. The business retains the entrepreneurial spirit which has underpinned the success of the business, whilst leveraging the backing from their German parent company within the UK marketplace. About you This role will be working alongside the UK MD to drive the commercial performance of the business. You will have a passion for the manufacturing sector and be motivated by ‘value add’ activity. Whether you are an aspiring CFO who is currently operating as a Finance Director or someone who has proven themselves in a divisional CFO role previously. As a UK CFO, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Lead and direct the UK financial, budgeting, business planning & controlling functions. Manage the financial formalities and processes within the UK Group Headquarters. Provide strategic financial oversight to the UK Leadership Team to help drive business performance and informed decision-making. Drive commercial performance through world-class business partnering including supporting on-margin maintenance, customer profitability and inflation recovery. Responsible for administering the financial strategy. Plans, organizes, and directs all finance activities and policies, including the management of accounting, planning, internal audit, cost control, and analysis. Integrate the teams in AFF and Innovate to become ‘one team’. Oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the FK Group. Oversee the preparation and approval of UK legal entities, and financial statements to ensure all statutory reporting requirements are met. Adhere to group and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and ensuring accurate, timely and clear business and financial reporting. Establish a strong relationship with the financial auditors and statutory bodies. Co-operate with the Group CFO and manage UK cash flow. Manage and coordinate all local Finance & Controlling personnel and work streams. This will include the integration of the two teams into one team for improved efficiencies. Implementation of SAP Business One into one of the UK sites using the principles of usage consistent with the rest of FK and specifically Innovate. Establish succession planning, people development and staffing in cooperation with HR. Line management of 2 direct reports & 10 indirect reports. Direct reports include Head of Finance (Innovate & AFF), Information Technology – on-site support. What the client has to offer Competitive salary (DOE). Holidays: 33 days per calendar year.
