Finance Business Partner in Bristol

Citadel Source are delighted to be working with a Retail business in South Bristol, to recruit a commercially focusedFinance Business Partner to help drive high-quality commercial insight to non-financial stakeholders in the companys flagship Bristol office (2 days a week on-site).

The role

This is a pure partnering role, working alongside the national sales team for the organisation and partnering with them to support work on tenders and closing big deals with high spend, high-profile clients. The role will manage budgets, forecasting, monthly reporting, and provide constant decision support to allow the commercial teams to be armed with high quality, useable MI to ensure the business is driving appropriate margins.

About you

You will be a high energy, commercially focused accountant or analyst with a desire to partner with stakeholders across the business. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be able to identify business trends and opportunities to drive profitability using data to challenge assumptions. The successful candidate will have an agile approach to working, be strong on Excel, enjoy problem solving, all whilst working in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

As a Finance Business Partner, your role will include, but not be limited to:

• Partnering with the sales and commercial teams to provide financial support and insight
• Analysing and use MI to identify opportunities for improvement in profitability
• Presenting, interpreting and explaining detailed financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Identifying business trends and interrogate low margin products
• Assisting in the budgeting and forecasting process, contributing to the commentary for senior stakeholders
• Producing regular KPI reports

• A salary of between £48,000 and £53,500
