As the Crypto Market Feed Handlers Lead, you will be responsible for the architecture, performance, and reliability of systems that ingest, normalize, and distribute market data from exchanges around the world. You will lead the development of high-performance feed handlers and exchange connectivity solutions across centralized and decentralized venues while partnering closely with trading, quantitative research, and engineering teams. Your work will directly impact trading performance by ensuring that market data is accurate, deterministic, resilient, and delivered with minimal latency. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who enjoys solving complex distributed systems challenges, building high-performance software, and driving engineering excellence within a rapidly evolving market.

Responsibilities:
- Own the architecture and technical direction of our crypto feed handler platform.
- Design and build low-latency exchange connectivity solutions across major crypto venues.
- Lead development of systems for market data ingestion, sequencing, normalization, order book construction, and downstream distribution.
- Drive venue onboarding across centralized exchanges (CEXs) and decentralized venues (DEXs).
- Build resilient infrastructure capable of handling fragmented liquidity, inconsistent schemas, and varying levels of data quality across exchanges.
- Develop frameworks for data quality monitoring, gap detection, reconciliation, recovery, and replay.
- Improve latency, throughput, resiliency, and operational stability across a 24/7 production environment.
- Partner closely with traders and quantitative researchers to deliver reliable market data that supports alpha generation and execution.
- Scale systems to support new exchanges, tokens, derivatives, and emerging market structures.
- Mentor and develop engineers while establishing high standards for ownership, reliability, and execution.
- Define technical KPIs and operational metrics that drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience building low-latency trading infrastructure in electronic trading, market making, or digital asset environments.
- Strong understanding of crypto exchange architecture and connectivity across venues such as Binance, Coinbase, Deribit, OKX, Bybit, and similar exchanges.
- Expert-level C++ development experience in performance-critical systems.
- Experience with real-time distributed systems, networking, multithreading, concurrency, and memory optimization.
- Strong understanding of order book construction, market data normalization, sequencing, and replay mechanisms.
- Experience working with unreliable or non-deterministic data sources and implementing recovery and reconciliation processes.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and influence engineering direction across teams.
- Track record of delivering production systems with measurable business impact.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineering, trading, and quantitative research stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Experience building infrastructure for market-making, high-frequency trading, or systematic trading businesses.
- Experience with traditional market data systems and exchange connectivity in equities, futures, options, or FX markets.
