Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and requirements.
- Elicit, analyse, and document business and data requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Data Engineers, and Analysts to support delivery.
- Facilitate workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
- Support backlog refinement and prioritisation activities.
- Ensure requirements are clearly communicated and understood across delivery teams.
- Assist with data analysis and validation to support business decision‑making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimisation.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within data‑focused projects.
- Experience working alongside Product Managers or within product‑led delivery teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Experience writing high‑quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to query and analyse data.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience working with data warehouses, reporting platforms, or analytics solutions.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Experience supporting digital product development and enhancement initiatives.
- Understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
- Experience in the financial sector.
