Overview of the Role:
We are seeking a Media Relations Executive to help retain and expand the presence of Newswire clients' press releases in the media. The Media Relations team focuses on strengthening and growing our distribution network across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, ensuring maximum reach for our customers’ press releases.
What We’re Looking For:
- Professional with experience in Media Research and PR.
- Deep understanding of the UK and EMEA media landscapes.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Motivated, strong team player.
- Fluent in an additional European language (German, Spanish or Italian preferred).
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and expand the presence of our news feeds on target websites.
- Strengthen and enhance the media subscription base on our PR Newswire for Journalists platform.
- Manage assigned social media accounts.
- Respond promptly and accurately to sales queries.
- Contribute to departmental tasks and projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Uphold and maintain quality standards of service.
Experience in Media Research or PR. Strong knowledge of the UK and EMEA media landscapes, including industry practices and requirements. Fluency in English; proficiency in an additional European language (German, Spanish or Italian) is highly desirable. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other digital tools. Strong time management and prioritization skills. A motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently. A team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
