Overview Of The Role
We are seeking a Media Relations Executive to help retain and expand the presence of Newswire clients' press releases in the media. The Media Relations team focuses on strengthening and growing our distribution network across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, ensuring maximum reach for our customers’ press releases.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a professional with experience in Media Research and PR, a deep understanding of the UK and EMEA media landscapes, and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. The ideal candidate is motivated, a strong team player, and fluent in an additional European language (German, Spanish or Italian preferred).
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand the presence of our news feeds on target websites.
- Strengthen and enhance the media subscription base on our PR Newswire for Journalists platform.
- Manage assigned social media accounts.
- Respond promptly and accurately to sales queries.
- Contribute to departmental tasks and projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Uphold and maintain quality standards of service.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in Media Research or PR.
- Strong knowledge of the UK and EMEA media landscapes, including industry practices and requirements.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in an additional European language (German, Spanish or Italian) is highly desirable.
