The senior designer will play a pivotal role in executing on the creative vision and strategy set by our SVP of Marketing. They are responsible for crafting exceptional design assets across a wide range of Marketing media (including Events, campaigns, reports, case studies, guides, blogs, webpages, digital assets, social posts, videos, templates, brand guidance, presentations, email & DataViz) to create experiences that truly resonate with customers, prospects, and internal teams. This role is primarily contributor focused, with hands-on design expertise needed, while also incorporating some mentorship, tactical & strategic responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Execution: Execute on the creative vision and strategy defined by the SVP Marketing to create impactful, consistent, and engaging design experiences.
- Develop and deliver digital, print, and branding outputs that set the standard for quality and innovation in our sector.
- Drive projects from concept to completion, managing resources and prioritising workloads in partnership with members of the marketing team.
- Challenge and refine creative briefs to understand and maximise ROI, brand equity, and alignment with strategic business objectives.
Brand Evolution & Systems:
- Work with other marketing team members to evolve, systemise, and disseminate our brand vision across the design team and the broader organisation.
- Partner with the Web team to ensure alignment between Brand and Web.
- Help evolve, communicate, and maintain the PR Newswire brand guidelines.
- Help establish and implement effective team processes and practices.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work:
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-disciplinary teams to support and deliver innovative solutions.
- Work closely with peers in marketing, product, and web to align to their goals.
Mentorship & Growth:
- Lead by example, championing robust design principles and a culture of collaboration.
Innovation & Trend Awareness:
- Stay ahead of design, cultural, and industry trends to inspire creativity within the team.
- Regularly review competitor activities and innovations.

- Create supplementary design assets for campaigns.
- Transform complex datasets into compelling visual narratives.
- Develop headers and layouts for email campaigns.
