Overview
Microsoft Product and Licensing Specialist at Cisilion. You will work with our sales teams on new and existing accounts as a subject matter expert (SME) in Microsoft Licensing, focusing on customer acquisition, EA to CSP migrations, cost optimisation, and FinOps.
We are an Indirect CSP Provider (via ALSO) with a client base across Public Sector, Commercial and Enterprise. Our Product and Licensing Team are experts across NCE and Azure CSP and have a track record of acquiring and supporting clients. We support more than $20m a year in CSP revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a proven record of winning and retaining customers; drive new client acquisition and savings through Licensing Consultancy and FinOps services, supported by our portals and platform.
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers maximise their Microsoft Licensing investment, understand funded engagements, remain up to date with promotions, investment programmes (e.g., Azure Migrate), and licensing models and approaches.
- Work in a hybrid model with time with the London Sales Office, with customers remotely and in-person, and with the Microsoft Partner team as required. Educate sellers, support marketing, and drive new business opportunities within our existing and new customer base.
- Innovate with Sales Teams, Client Success Managers and Technical Pre-sales to seek, qualify, and share opportunities to grow license sales and CSP.
- Lean on Microsoft Sellers to help drive inbound co-sell leads.
Ideally, you will have or seek to gain experience in managing a team of Specialists.
Key Performance Indicators
- Proven record of consulting and selling NCE and CSP with high win rates.
- Accurate cost modelling, proposal writing, and client presentation skills.
- New client acquisition, growth, and client retention.
- Deliver against personal product and licensing annual targets (quarterly).
Skills and Experience Required
- Commercial and Sales experience.
- 5+ years experience selling CSP/NCE, ideally from Direct or Indirect Reseller.
- Passion to sell and win; driving value savings to clients by positioning Cisilion as their partner for Cloud products & services.
- Strong with commercial presentations and calculations; able to present at all levels.
