The Role
This is a new role due to Cisilion\’s success and growth. This role will be placed within our growing Cisco team, with a focus on our overall Cisco practice growth. In turn, the successful candidate would be joining a leading & established Cisco team within Cisilion to support the continued Cisco growth with our sales teams.
The successful individual will work as a Cisco specialist acting as a sales overlay to support the sales team with new and existing Cisco opportunities. The role will support the sales team with nurturing existing and new accounts to promote Cisilion and the whole Cisco portfolio. As such it requires a strong understanding of Cisco\’s overall solutions and buying programs. This role has a particular focus on Cisco software and Enterprise Agreements (EA), which Cisilion are a leading partner for; as such it is mandatory to have a strong expertise in the creation of Cisco EA propositions. This individual would additionally be required to support the overall building of relationships from a Cisilion brand perspective within Cisco.
As a successful sales overlay, you will be required to act strategically and in an advisory capacity to both our customers and the sales teams, to support driving increased revenue for Cisilion while ensuring to demonstrate business & commercial value back to all levels of stakeholders. As such communication and listening skills are a must, alongside attention to detail to ensure the best for our customers & sales teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the sales team in the generation of new and existing Cisco opportunities
- Build relationships across key customer stakeholders to support the progression of opportunities
- Support with the qualification of Cisco opportunities and overall forecasting of sales opportunities
- Ensure the execution on Cisco opportunities for our clients, including sales proposals, establishing clear business requirements, and overall commercial propositions. To help shape the overall deal with sales.
- Creation of Cisco EA proposals on Cisco tooling including supporting on pricing of these proposals.
- Proactively create and seek out new opportunities for our customers for all Cisilion\’s key vendors.
- Establish relationships within Cisco to support the growth of the Cisilion brand
- Provide sales training as required to support the development of the individual sales teams
Key Skills
- Proven knowledge and experience of EA activation including management of Cisco smart accounts
- Understanding of EA management to support tracking software licenses, renewals and usage to support growing existing customer EAs
- Understanding of Cisco license models & software portfolios
- Strong commercial and sales understanding to support the upsell/cross-sell and nurturing of accounts
- Excellent people skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the business from senior leadership to exec, and management teams
- Precise communication ability to demonstrate the value of technical solutions and their commercial value based on each customer\’s business requirements
- Clear demonstration of nurture relationships across customers, sales teams and vendors
- Capable of independently driving the creation of new sales opportunities & driving opportunities to close
- Awareness of Cisco partner programs to enable the best outcomes from a commercial perspective
- Desirable to have a broad technical knowledge of Cisco and competing vendor\’s solutions propositions
