The Global Early-in-Career Sales Onboarding team within Sales Enablement & Acceleration (SEA) is a forward-thinking, AI-first group on a mission to flip the traditional onboarding experience on its head. We architect the Day 1 journey for our interns and Early-in-Career talent, ensuring every individual is launched toward an incredible career trajectory at Cisco. Your Impact
- Lead and coach a cohort of Cisco Sales Associates sellers through their first 12 months at Cisco, ensuring a seamless transition from onboarding to high-performance sales roles.
- Manage day-to-day performance tracking and skill development initiatives to accelerate the learning curve and productivity of new sellers.
- Influence the on-the-job experience by providing real-time feedback and coaching to bridge the gap between theoretical training and practical sales execution.
- Drive role readiness and successful transitions for all team members to maintain a high-performing and consistent talent pipeline for our regional sales offices.
- Empower the next generation of Cisco innovators by serving as a pivotal mentor during the most critical stage of their professional journey.
- As a CSAP Manager, your physical presence in the office is a core requirement of this role, as it allows you to serve as a visible, accessible leader and mentor to our new hires.
- You will be expected to work on-site to provide the daily, hands-on mentorship and informal coaching that are essential for fostering a collaborative team culture and driving the professional development of our early-in-career talent.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 6+ years of experience in a field-facing sales role, with track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and performance KPIs for at least 3 consecutive years
- 3+ years of direct people management experience in a sales organization
- Extensive experience in professional leadership, coaching, and mentorship to inspire, motivate, and develop early-career talent
- Strong working knowledge of sales methodologies and sales tools to credibly coach new hires on essential sales activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to champion the adoption of new technologies, specifically AI, to drive team efficiency and output
- Strong ability to balance empathy with accountability to drive high-performance results
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on continuous improvement
