We have an exciting opportunity for a Solutions Engineer (SE) in our CGEM APJC Inbound Team, based in London, UK, supporting APJC Global Enterprise Customers in EMEA. As part of the CGEM APJC Inbound Team, you will partner with Account Executives in EMEA in a pre-sales technical role, showcasing Cisco solutions.
You will work alongside:
- Visionary architects designing complex network solutions.
- Dedicated service professionals ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Global account sales teams coordinating efforts across borders.
Your Impact
Solutions Engineers at Cisco are technical leaders who advise and support customers within our Sales team, driving pre-sales engagements with deep technical knowledge, and leading solution discussions with customers. You will work across Cisco’s portfolio, including Networking, Data Center, Cloud & AI, Collaboration, Automation, IoT, and Security. Your proactive approach will help deliver a seamless “One Cisco” experience, transforming complex requirements into growth opportunities. This role focuses on Cisco’s Enterprise solutions sector.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging directly with customers as a trusted technical advisor, understanding their challenges, and designing suitable solutions.
- Collaborating with global teams to develop strategies and drive key deals.
- Delivering technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts to showcase Cisco’s value.
- Providing technical support throughout the sales cycle to ensure smooth adoption.
- Staying informed on industry trends and Cisco’s evolving offerings to provide insightful recommendations.
Qualifications
- Strong solution-selling skills with deep knowledge of Cisco solutions and products, excellent listening skills, self-management, and teamwork.
- BS/BA in EE/CS or equivalent required.
- Generalist knowledge across Cisco’s solutions, with specialization in Networking, Collaboration, Data Center & AI, Security, or IoT.
- 5+ years of pre-sales experience preferred.
- Cisco product experience or relevant experience with competitors is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating technical solutions into business value.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are advantageous.
