Overview

In this role you will lead the planning, delivery, and measurement of Cisco’s international communications programs across APJC, EMEA, Latin America and Canada.

You will build a data-backed, unified plan that aligns global and regional priorities, partnering with corporate and regional teams to enable fast, high-impact execution.

You’ll shape AI-enabled workflows and measurement frameworks to simplify complexity and drive measurable reputational impact in the AI era.

This position offers broad cross-regional influence and the opportunity to steer strategic communications at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own and synthesize the planning process into a clear, prioritized international plan.
  • Collaborate with corporate and regional comms leads to ensure clarity, assets, and lead times for execution.
  • Drive operational excellence with AI-integrated workflows and rigorous governance for multi-market initiatives.
  • Lead audience insights and measurement, defining KPIs and translating data into actionable strategy.
  • Lead, develop, and coach a lean team and influence virtual teams to deliver results.
  • Key requirements
  • 14+ years in communications with senior PR experience and at least 3 years in strategic planning or operations
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders with gravitas and executive-ready plans
  • Exceptional writing skills and a track record of clear goal articulation
  • Expertise in complex, multi-region communications with meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience building measurement frameworks, KPIs, and reporting outcomes to senior leadership
  • Experience managing, coaching, and developing communications professionals
