Your Impact

We are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer (SE) with Enterprise Networking, Data Center, Collaboration, Security, Automation, and Cloud background. The SE role is a customer focused technical sales professional who ensures that technical information and guidance is provided to the customer, delivering meaningful outcomes based on Cisco’s product and services portfolio. You will partner with your Account Managers in a pre-sales technical function, showcasing Cisco solutions, providing customer presentations, performing technical demonstrations, creating BoM’s, running proof of concept activities and engaging with your customers at a senior engineering level. SEs partner, consult, influence and design solutions to allow the customer to meet their desired outcomes. In addition to technology aptitude and the ability to learn quickly and stay current; the ideal candidate\’s interpersonal, presentation and troubleshooting skills should evoke passion and confidence.

Responsibilities:

  • Technology solution consultant to the customer and the Cisco account team.
  • Act as Account CTO for a small set of very large accounts and engage meaningfully with both technology and line of business stakeholders.
  • Create and execute on a Technical Account Plan which includes AS-IS and TO-BE states.
  • Leverage an array of Cisco technology, services, and support specialists.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Manager on account planning activities.
  • Educate the customer on Cisco differentiation, creating demand.
  • Set brand preference to Cisco.
  • Align Cisco’s product and services capabilities to customers business drivers.
  • You are self-driven and have a long history in the Networking field.
  • Have a strong background in large enterprises and/or large service provider IT accounts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of computing industry related experience.
  • Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis required.
  • Cisco Certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, CCDP or similar vendor certifications highly valued.
  • Knowledge of Cisco\’s Solutions, networking fundamentals required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.
