Your Impact
- Lead and coach a cohort of early-in-career Associate Solutions Engineers through their first 12 months at Cisco, ensuring a seamless transition from onboarding to high-performance SE roles.
- Translate your field-proven technical expertise into actionable coaching plans that emphasize technical agility, demo mastery, and role readiness.
- Train your cohort to utilize AI assistants and technical automation tools to streamline solution design, lab configurations, and administrative tasks during their foundational year.
- Execute rigorous performance tracking and conduct regular reviews to identify and bridge technical skill gaps throughout the one-year development program.
- Drive successful career transitions for your engineering team at the end of their first year, ensuring a steady pipeline of elite technical talent ready to solve complex customer challenges.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in a field-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Engineer or Technical Specialist).
- 3+ years of direct people management experience in a sales organization.
- Proven track record in technical validation (demos/POVs) and utilizing AI-integrated workflows to automate technical tasks and drive efficiency.
- Proficiency in sales and engineering tools, including Salesforce and lab environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to champion the adoption of new technologies, specifically AI, to drive team efficiency and output.
- Active technical certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent industry credentials.
- Ability to simplify complex architectural concepts into clear technical narratives.
