This role is for a Tetragon software engineer focused on developing the Tetragon agent, enablement for various embedded platforms and cloud environments, and creating BPF programs that detect and prevent malicious activity.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement advanced eBPF-based runtime security mechanisms for embedded, Kubernetes and VM environments.
  • Enhance and improve Tetragon's network parser capabilities.
  • Tackle challenging technical problems.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to technical documentation.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in systems programming using C, Go or similar.
  • Experience in observability or security use cases such as Linux systems programming, Linux kernel-level development, or eBPF development, and prior experience in security hardening and defense techniques.
  • Prior experience in integrating or developing security frameworks for infrastructure-level products.
  • Prior experience in building control planes for security or similar.
  • Familiarity with CVE workflows, vulnerability data pipelines, or security event modeling.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.
  • Contributions to open-source security or networking projects (e.g., Tetragon, Cilium, Linux networking stack).
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
