Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a high‑performing Sales Solutions Engineering team that designs and delivers innovative security solutions across the Americas, focusing on Identity Security and Zero Trust architecture.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, set clear expectations, and ensure the team consistently meets revenue and operational targets.

Act as a strategic advisor to customers and partners, cultivating executive‑level relationships to secure long‑term loyalty.

Monitor industry trends, especially AI, and guide the team to craft cross‑product solutions that address complex market challenges.

Standardize technical sales methodologies and assets to demonstrate the value of Cisco Security solutions, streamline collaboration across sales, product, and marketing teams, and maintain a competitive edge.

Translate market trends and technical challenges into actionable, high‑impact team strategies, and manage complex customer engagements to deliver consistent, high‑value, customer‑centric solutions.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in technical sales or solutions engineering roles, collaborating with sales and customer‑facing teams to drive business results.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and mentor high-performing, diverse technical teams.
  • Strong technical expertise in security, networking, and/or cloud, with deep knowledge of Identity/IAM and emerging AI security landscapes.
  • Advanced Cisco or industry certifications (CCNP/CCIE) and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; an advanced degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with experience communicating complex technical concepts and security value propositions to executive‑level stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive technical sales strategies that accelerate growth and deliver measurable business outcomes for global customers.
  • Data‑driven decision making and the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders across product, sales, and marketing.
