The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to security officers and Control Room staff, ensuring the highest standards of security, customer service and operational excellence are always maintained. The individual will need to be motivated, professional and experienced in leading a team.

Job Requirements
- SIA Door Supervisor Licence Required
- X-ray & Team Leader/Supervisor experience required
- Experience in supervising a team (preferred)
- Experience in conducting investigations (preferred)

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Training
- Manage the Scanning Team, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to security protocols.
- Conduct inductions and ongoing training for team members to ensure competence in all required tasks and responsibilities.
- Provide oversight and guidance to the Lobby Team, ensuring alignment with security standards and customer service expectations.
- Take ownership of assigned areas, maintaining high performance and team engagement.
- Conduct return-to-work interviews, investigation hearings, one-to-one meetings, and rostering.
- Oversee and manage daily schedules, assignments, and breaks for the team.
- Meet and greet visitors, maintaining a welcoming and professional demeanour.
- Provide a visible security presence to deter potential incidents and ensure compliance with safety and security policies.
- Monitor and respond to security threats or incidents, escalating concerns, as necessary.
- Ensure restricted areas remain secure and that unauthorized access is prevented.
- Oversee and perform search and screening processes, including:
- Operating X-ray machines and identifying dangerous or prohibited items.
- Conducting physical searches of bags or items flagged by detection systems.
- Using handheld devices for body searches when required.
- Safeguarding confiscated items and ensuring proper registration and handover.
- Oversee the use of x-ray screening equipment to detect prohibited items such as weapons, explosives, or contraband, and respond to any security threats and incidents as per EOP's (Emergency Operating Procedure) & WI's (Work Instructions)
- Confiscate and securely register prohibited items, coordinating with the Fire Control Centre and police as needed.
- Escort visitors who refuse to comply with security procedures from the premises.
- Manage lost property, ensuring proper logging and returning items to rightful owners, with a focus on sentimental items.
- Deliver a world-class customer experience, ensuring visitors feel welcomed and safe.
- Collaborate seamlessly with other service providers and departments to maintain smooth operations.
- Actively look for opportunities to improve performance and enhance service delivery.
- Adhere to all site-specific work instructions and policies.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for service improvements to the management team.
- Take direction from management while demonstrating the ability to make critical decisions independently when necessary.
