CIS Security have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Security Officer to join our team. You will act as an ambassador for CIS Security, delivering high-quality guarding and exceptional customer service to clients and all building users. The role is based at a modern, high-profile workplace set within a redesigned landscaped courtyard in EC1.

- Pay Rate: £14.80 per hour
- Hours: Average 54 hours per week
- Shifts: Nights & Weekend Days - Rolling Roster - (WK1) Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat & Sun Nights (WK2) Wed & Thurs Nights, Sat & Sun Days
Job Requirements:
- SIA Licence required
- Corporate Security, Concierge or Front of House experience for at least 1 year an advantage
- Must be flexible and be able to work days, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change due to operational needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service at all times
- Must have an excellent command of English Language & Good IT Skills
- Reliable, Responsible and Punctual
- A friendly, professional, courteous and outgoing character
- To take pride in your appearance at all times, ensuring immaculate presentation
- Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site
- First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence are desirable
Job Responsibilities:
- Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our customers and service users
- Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative
- Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations
- Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift
- Confident in writing incident and shift reports
- To always portray a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language
- To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service at all times ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded
- Have the IT skills and the ability to understand and use varied Access Control and CCTV systems and platforms / integrated systems
- Have the ability to write emails and reply to emails in the correct manner and speak, very important in Corporate Industry
- Have the ability to exercise command and control and be an effective communicator to all peer groups and management levels
- Able to understand Corporate Escalation Process, - Escalate and Disseminate information in a timely manner to the correct personnel in the event or during an emergency or Incident on site
- The role includes you to conduct opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, Conducting emergency procedures
