An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Duty Security Manager at a refurbished, high-footfall corporate retail destination in the heart of London's West End. This vibrant site sits between Selfridges and Oxford Circus, offering a dynamic environment at the centre of the capital's retail and entertainment district.
As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety and security of all people and property across public areas and facilities. You'll be expected to lead by example, delivering high standards of guarding, safety, and customer service to both clients and visitors. This role requires a proactive, professional approach and the ability to manage incidents calmly and effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Job Requirements:
- SIA Licence required.
- CCTV Licence required.
- Experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor/Lead Officer is required.
- Excellent communication both written & verbal & customer service.
- Reliable, Responsible and Punctual.
- To have a smart appearance befitting the company.
- Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations.
- Able to work as part of a team as well as on your own.
Job Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for the deployment of the security team to ensure that a satisfactory security presence is maintained on site as required by the customer representative(s).
- To ensure that all security personnel adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site and report any breach of these immediately to your line manager.
- To ensure that discipline is maintained on shift including the wearing of full uniform and punctuality of officers.
- To ensure the handover is checked at the beginning of the shift to ensure all vital details are carried out before their time.
- To ensure the highest standards of customer care are maintained at all times when dealing with staff and visitors.
