CIS Security have an exciting opportunity available for a Corporate Security Officer to a multinational asset management company based in the city. The Security Officer will be a highly experienced corporate security officer providing security and customer service for the client.
About the role:
- Location: London, Moorgate (EC2Y)
- Pay Rate: £14.80 per hour
- Hours: Average 42 hours per week
- Shifts: 2 On 2 Off, 3 On 2 Off, 2 On 3 Off - Days & Nights
Job Requirements:
- SIA Door Supervisor required
- Corporate Security or front of house experience, minimum of 2 years, this must be in your most recent role.
- Must be flexible and able to change due to operational needs
- Excellent communication both written & verbal
- To have a smart appearance befitting the company
- Reliable, Responsible and Punctual
- High standards of customer service and attention to detail at all times
- Must be able and willing to be on foot (standing / manning areas, internal & external patrols) for most parts of the day
- First Aid qualification & knowledge of C-Cure system preferred
About You:
- Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.
- The ability to be pro-active and efficient in use of initiative
- To control the safe access/egress to designated venues in line with current procedures and client
- To maintain good order and public safety at client's
- To take all reasonable and required measures to protect the Clients property, staff, and visitors.
- Meet and greet staff, occupiers, visitors, and clients in a courteous manner; issuing badges as required and in line with client requirements
- Conduct opening and closing procedures of building, patrolling, reception duties, access control & loading bay duties
- Calm under pressure and able to deal with any incidents that may arise
- Patrolling interior and exterior of the client's premises as directed by Assignment instructions
The role includes conducting opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, and conducting emergency procedures. You will be part of a team seeing this site through from refurbishment to business as usual and must be comfortable working on a construction site moving into an office environment.
