We're seeking a proactive Loading Bay Officer to support the management team in delivering the smooth and efficient operation of a busy, high-profile corporate loading bay in the City.

The building is a multi-tenant destination with a steady flow of deliveries, contractor activity, and facilities operations throughout the day, so the role requires strong organisation and confident communication.

You'll liaise regularly with the client team and occupiers' FM representatives to coordinate access, manage daily movements, and maintain a safe, well-run loading bay environment.

  • Job Requirements
  • SIA Licence required.
  • SIA CCTV licence required.
  • Experience as a Loading Bay Officer required.
  • A working knowledge or an interest in the customer service environment
  • Excellent levels of customer service at all times as well as communication both written & verbal
  • Reliable, Responsible and Punctual.
  • To have a smart appearance befitting the company.
  • Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Be calm & confident under pressure in dealing with confrontational situations in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a professional and proactive approach towards Security and have an attention to detail and be proactive.
  • Excellent time management & task prioritisation skills
  • Must have experience in working within a team as well as on your own and have the ability to operate in a pressurised environment.
  • Job Responsibilities
  • To be responsible for the day to day running of the loading bay and deployment of the security team to ensure that a satisfactory security presence is maintained on site.
  • To ensure that all security personnel adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site at all times and report any breach of these immediately to the Security Manager
  • To ensure that all Deliveries and couriers are dealt with efficiently
  • To ensure that all contractors are booked in and out effectively and maintain communication with the service teams accordingly
  • To ensure the Handover is checked at the beginning of the shift to ensure all vital details are carried out before their time.
  • To ensure the highest standards of customer care are maintained all times
  • To keep a proactive outlook & carry out regular patrols in conjunction with the extended security team.
  • Liaise regularly with The Security Managers and Occupiers service teams ensuring that they are kept updated on all important aspects.
  • Carry out any reasonable requests made by CIS management.
  • To be able to work as part of a team
