The role of the Compliance and Services Manager is to lead on the customer\'s values and the overall asset\'s compliance. The successful candidate would enhance and maintain safety proactively and responsibly and should exceed expectatons with a 100% compliance rating. You are to work with and collaborate with all staff, tenants, contractors and stakeholders at the scheme. You are also required to develop and manage the delivery of processes and procedures that would protect persons and property.
This is an active role requiring excellent communication and management skills.

  • Pay Rate: £47,000 per annum
  • Hours: 45 hours per week
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday - Days

Job Requirements:
  • Experience of carrying out a similar role for an achieving Shopping Centre or Commercial Estate.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Must be able to accept and act on feedback.
  • Ability to communicate confidently with a number of internal and external stakeholders, including those significantly more senior.
  • Comfortable taking on responsibility, whilst being effective working collaboratively.
  • Quick learner, with strong problem solving skills.
  • High level of confidence, drive and energy - able to deal with a busy environment.
  • Flexible and enthusiastic approach and attitude.
  • Resilient and adaptable in approach. Able to manage high volume of activity.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent IT skills

Essential:
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practice affecting site management.
  • Qualified to IOSH level.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing business requirement.

Job Role:
  • Daily facilities requests and queries and a key member of the Management team. Deputising for Centre Manager where required.
  • Manage all aspects of safety and risks critically the \"Permit to work\", \"Risk Assessments\", Business Continuity, Crisis and Incident management procedures.
  • Ensure high level of safety and environmental standards are achieved at all times.
  • Flexible to meet the operational needs on a continual basis whilst suggesting new initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Ensuring the building meets health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation by carrying out centre audits and upload with comments on Meridian, RfB and other property management platforms.
  • Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences as required.
  • Oversee to all training and inductions of new staff and team members. Identify and analyse training needs as required. Ensure all training matrices are up to date.This include First Aid and Fire Warden training.
  • Weekly catch up\'s with the Engineer Supervisor/Manager and Site Engineer and highlight outstanding actions on Fire/Water Log books, RfB or any other actions.
  • Weekly catch up\'s with Cleaning Manager and highlight concerns or executable actions where required.
  • Liaise and collaborate with all service departments whilst also ensuring to undertake pre audits quality assurance audit.
  • Weekly catch up\'s with Security Manager and highlight concerns or executable actions where required.
  • Administer Property Management, Fire Route Inspections, Site walks and Surveys. Ensure results are adequately and correctly recorded.
  • Administer miscellaneous Occupier inspections as required
  • Present to both Retailers and Occupiers alike during scheduled meetings when required.
  • Lead on site Quarterly H&S and Operational meetings.
  • Ensuring the security team undertake inspection of voids and uphold void management procedures.
  • Mini Project management, supervising and coordinating work of contractors where required
  • Coordinating with building management in services such as security, maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal and recycling.
  • Communicating clearly and championing the drafting of day to day operational procedures and processes.
  • Provide weekend senior management cover where required.
  • Support Centre Management through Data imputation of both environmental and sustainability information at relevant hubs.
  • Ensure all team managers are familiar with and adhere to the BL health and safety. Ensure these are cascaded down the chain.
  • Support Centre Management team to meet key performance indicators.
  • Oversight on all site defects register and ensure they are followed up by site engineers.
  • Attend all \"Vertical\"and \"Diagonal\" transportation meetings and ensure reports are reviewed and actiiond upon. .
  • Ensure the HSE policy is implemented and that all on-site staff are aware of their responsibilities and duties.
  • Update the Health & Safety on-line reporting system and ensure all certification and identified actions are completed within the allocated time.
  • Ensure a full set of Risk Assessments exist appropriate to that property and that Permits are issued where required
  • Help prepare and ensure readiness of business continuity and critical plans.
  • Update site notice boards as required and ensure that occupier contact details are kept up to date and that they have up to date contact details for appropriate site management.
